The Kunsthalle Meidling in Vienna was founded begin 2005 by Kathrin Delhougne & Rudolf Pötters. We use it

as our studio in the first place, but it should also function as an exhibition space for emerging artists.

Kunsthalle Meidling wants to be an alternative to art spaces which already exist.

Our location is a more experimental one, because Meidling (12th Viennese district) offers the public far

less opportunities to get in contact with contemporary art compared to other parts of the city. This makes it for us

even more interesting and we see it as a challenge and task to create new, exciting and professional art just here.

 

We would like to realize 3 - 4 exhibitions a year. In principle, every technique and position is welcome,

however it should show an interest in the premises and the surroundings. All we expect is a meaningful

and interesting concept. We offer practical support and also care for the organisation, promotion etc.
